​Until very recently, whitening was reserved for dentist offices only. Today, all teeth whitening systems (except those containing fluoride) are considered cosmetic products, meaning that teeth whitening is now considered a cosmetic, non-invasive dental procedure approved by the FDA.

At Smile360, it is important to us that we strictly use a non-peroxide gel and an appropriate whitening accelerator. Our unique non-peroxide formula offers dramatic results with little to no sensitivity. It is safe, effective and convenient for all of our clients. The accelerator that we recommend using, is an LED lamp emitting a cold blue light with a wavelength of 465 nanometers. This wavelength of light is ideal for activating the solution and accelerating the whitening process.

The procedure is very simple and is self-administered by the client. The gel is applied to the tray. A cold blue light is placed directly in front of the client’s exposed teeth and runs for 20 minutes per treatment. Our clients generally see whitening of 2-6 shades per treatment.

Propylene Glycol - One of the most common ingredients in teeth whitening products. This carrier can maintain moisture and help to dissolve other ingredients.

Glycerin - Included for its effectiveness at delivering teeth whitening agents deep into the enamel, allowing us to provide fast teeth whitening results. Thickens and controls the flow of the substance from overextending to the gum tissues.

Sodium Bicarbonate - Also known as baking soda, naturally whitens and cleans your teeth by removing tough stains and unhealthy plaque.

Carbomer - A gentle teeth whitening agent that works with an oxidizing effect, unlocking your teeth's whitest color.

Triethanolamine - Adjusts and buffers the pH, and solubilizes oils and other ingredients that are not completely soluble in water.

Polyviny|pyrrolidone - This is a protective ingredient that keeps stains away from the tooth surface.

Menthol - Adds a clean, refreshing taste plus has the medicinal and germicidal benefits of diminishing harmful bacterial growth inside the mouth, leaving breath smelling and feeling fresh
